About

Book Trailer Tracksheet

The book trailer tracksheet is designed to help you storyboard your book trailer.  The template will help you to keep track of the elements that you want to put into your trailer.  You need Microsoft Excel 97 or newer in order to view the tracksheet.  Keep in mind that the spreadsheet is not locked or protected in any way, and is provided without any warranty.  You are free to use it for your own purposes - to help you understand how to put a book trailer together, keep track of how you built it, and what it cost for you to build.

The tracksheet has three sheets:
1. Tracking Sheet: This sheet allows you to enter in all of the necessary facts about your book and what images you want to include in your trailer.  It allows you to keep track of the audio that you want to use, your logline and trailer synopsis.
2. Timeline:  This sheet helps you storyboard your book trailer.  Add, delete, move anything you want in order to create your trailer.
3. Cost:  This sheet helps you track the costs for making your trailer.  In the example, the soundtrack cost was $29.95; a child voice actor was used at a cost of $10; royalty-free images at a cost of $18 was also used.  The spreadsheet calculates the total for you.
